Owen
Age 16 | From Illinois 4-H
INTERESTS:
Sports, Woodworking, Leatherworking, Agriculture and Livestock
2025 PROJECT:
Every year I like to experiment with new projects and activities that I had not participated in the year prior. I am taking two new projects, tractors and leather working. With that being said, I will still be participating in dairy and hope to until the end of my 4-H years. In my dairy project I show Holstein dairy heifers and cows at the 4-H show. I also look forward to continuing my visual arts metal and visual arts fiber projects that I have done in previous years.

Age 17 | From Ohio 4-H
INTERESTS:
Sewing, Shooting, Cooking and Crocheting
2025 PROJECT:
This year my project is based on my experience with the Ohio 4-H National Shooting Sports Team. I am on the small-bore pistol team, and this is my first shooting project. Even though I have been shooting from a young age, I am just now starting to do it for 4-H. I have enjoyed shooting, and I am excited to be on the team. We will be competing in Nebraska at the 4-H National Shooting Sports Competition where 4-H kids from different states come and compete. Aside from shooting I also enjoy sewing, which is how I got into 4-H, and I am now making my own pattern for a dress. Go OH-IO.

Age 13 | From South Carolina 4-H
INTERESTS:
Leadership, Community Involvement, Livestock Care and Education, Public Speaking
2025 PROJECT:
In 2025, I'm looking forward to continuing my 4-H Rabbit Project. I hope to attend the 2025 American Rabbit Breeders Association National Show in Indianapolis, Indiana and show some of my homegrown rabbits. I also hope to compete in the youth contests, such as animal judging, knowledge, breed ID, Royalty, Achievement, management, and other youth contests offered. This year I also look forward to holding several leadership roles at the local, state, and national level within my project. Last year, I competed in dairy judging for the first time. I hope to learn more about livestock judging and compete in various livestock judging competitions in the fall. I'm looking forward to showing one of my Cochin Bantam chickens at my county fair.

Age 18 | From Florida 4-H
INTERESTS:
Leadership, Mentorship, Horses, International Relations, Film and Photography
2025 PROJECT:
As a 2025 Georgia Boot Trailblazer, I’m focusing on projects that reflect who I am- horses, film, leadership, and photography. Through the horse project, I’m pushing myself to grow not just as a rider, but as someone learning to appreciate the final season, I have in the show ring and to foster a deeper connection with my horse. This year is about embracing the end of a chapter that’s shaped so much of who I am. Alongside that, I’m continuing to explore creative expression through film and photography, and I serve on Florida’s State Executive Board to help support youth leadership across the state. Each project, in its own way, has helped me better understand myself and the direction I want to go as I move off to college.

Age 16 | From Alabama 4-H
INTERESTS:
Agriculture, livestock education, public speaking, photography, and community service.
2025 PROJECT:
In 2025, I am focusing on livestock education, public speaking, and service through 4-H. This year, I had the honor of captaining Alabama’s Senior Dairy Quiz Bowl team to a state championship and placing first individually in Senior Livestock Quiz Bowl. I will represent Alabama at the National Dairy Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, the National Dairy Quiz Bowl in Louisville, Kentucky, and National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia. Alongside these opportunities, I continue to grow as a communicator through public speaking and enjoy mentoring younger 4-H’ers, using the skills I’ve gained in leadership and service to make a positive impact.
