The black full-grain leather, used to make the upper of this Georgia Logger, has a very smooth texture and is quite strong. Positioned on the tongue, Armortex® fabric provides outstanding resistance to abrasions but offers enough stretch to allow the footwear to fit comfortably. While the lace-up design is terrific for adjusting the fit of these men's work boots, you'll also be pleased with the solid brass milled hardware because it prevents the Georgia Boot laces (they're guaranteed for life) from being cut or torn. A brush guard kiltie has been attached to block small external items (vegetation, twigs, pebbles, mud, etc.) from entering the interior, it's removable!
Building the footwear in compliance with the ASTM F2413 Protective Toe Classification as well as the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard allows these composite-toe boots to offer you the most advantageous protection from falling objects and electrical equipment. Inside, these 9" boots are equipped with GORE-TEX® fabric to ensure that this black Logger is offered the very best waterproof protection and has great breathability. Incredible cushioning, fantastic support and shock absorption all stem from having the Comfort Core® 7 insole down inside of these boots.
On the exterior, the Counter Lock heel is quite beneficial because it makes this Georgia Logger fit securely by preventing your ankle from sliding; you'll also like the fact that this feature allows you to push your boots off without causing any damage to the leather. For additional stability and to ensure that the arches of your feet would be supported, Georgia built a double-rib steel shank into the base of these boots.
With the addition of a Vibram® outsole, this Logger will have excellent traction and be able to resist abrasions and oil effectively. Goodyear welt construction has strengthened the entire structure of these work boots, made them incredibly durable and allows you to take your worn-down sole to a shoe repairman and have the boots completely resoled.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75

Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
