Georgia Boot: Men's GORE-TEX® Steel Toe Logger Work Boots:
The upper of this Georgia Logger has been assembled with full-grain black leather; its great durability will allow this material to hold up outdoors. The boot's lace-up design allows you to adjust the fit so that you remain comfortable; plus, the eyelets and stud hooks have been set on steel washers, which prevents them from being pulled out.
As a result of Georgia building this 8" Logger with Goodyear welt construction, its durability and strength has been enhanced. Plus, it allows these works boots to have their outsole repaired easily once it begins to wear down. That feature protects the footwear itself, but the steel toe will keep your feet safe; it is able to withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression because it has met the F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification. It is also compliant with the ASTM's Electrical Hazard Standard.
Georgia incorporated GORE-TEX® fabric into these boots; it is such an outstanding feature to have because it keeps this footwear breathable, waterproof and even windproof. Other features that will keep your feet comfortable within the interior are: the 200 grams of Thinsulate Insulation (great warmth) and the polyurethane insole that supplies fantastic cushioning.
A steel shank will ensure that you have stable footing while you're working and aids in supporting the arches of your feet. There is a Vibram® Tacoma outsole; even though it's lightweight it is still able to deliver great abrasion, chemical, heat, oil and slip-resistance.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
